In order for the button Create invoice to appear in your left menu as below, you first need to activate this function. This is done under Settings / Accounts receivable / Service settings. If you choose to activate this, a purple Create invoice box will appear in the left menu under your company name and you can use this to create invoices manually directly on the web.
