Here we have gathered frequently asked questions and answers related to network inquiries, relationships in the network, and how to expand your e-invoice network. Your network consists of your company's relationships within our business network where thousands of companies receive and send their invoices.
Can I see all my connections in the network?
Yes, you can see all your connections under Connections via your login to InExchange Network.
In the table that appears, you can see the connections you already have in the network as well as the status of each relationship.
Via InExchange Network, you can check if anything special is required when you are going to send an e-invoice to a new recipient.
Here's how:
1. Search for the company using the company name, organization number, or GLN on the page Expand Your Network. Click on the company's name in the search results to get more information.

Suppliers must be approved
When you are going to send an e-invoice to a new recipient, it may be that your company must be approved as a supplier first. In these cases, there is a marking in the box Suppliers must be approved, see the image below. A request needs to be sent to the recipient before the first e-invoice is sent.

Has controls
If the recipient has activated controls for e-invoices, this will be indicated with a marking in the box Has controls, see the image above. Contact the recipient to get information about any references and other details they require.
If you are using our free service InExchange Web Basic, you can send e-invoices to recipients who use InExchange to receive e-invoices. You need to upgrade your service to be able to send to recipients using a different operator.
Send to a recipient in Sweden who is not yet in the InExchange network
If you are going to send invoices to a recipient who is not yet registered in our network, you can add them to the network by registering them via our contact form. To register the recipient, we need certain information for the registration. The information is provided by the invoice recipient.
For recipients in Sweden, you need to provide the following information about the recipient during registration:
- Full company name *
- Organization number *
- VAT number (not always the same as the organization number) *
- GLN (not always available, leave it blank if not)
- Contact person: name and email address *
- Operator *

Send to a recipient outside Sweden who is not yet in the InExchange network
If you are going to send invoices to a recipient who is not yet registered in our network, you can add them to the network by registering them via our contact form. To register the recipient, we need certain information for the registration. The required information varies slightly depending on which country it concerns. The information is provided by the invoice recipient.
For recipients within the Nordic countries, we generally need the following information:
- Full company name *
- Organization number *
- VAT number (not always the same as the organization number) *
- GLN *
- Contact person: name and email address *
- Operator *
* Mandatory information
With certain exceptions for Norway:
- GLN (normally not used, but can occur)
- Operator (PEPPOL is often used, so the operator may not always be present)
For other countries, we would like to receive as much information as possible. A setup for certain countries may require a project. Contact us for more information if you have questions about e-invoices to recipients outside Sweden.

How do I change the customer connection for an existing customer?
When you send an e-invoice to a customer, the customer needs to be linked to the correct e-invoice recipient in our network. We have registered information about GLN, among other things, for the recipient so that the invoice is routed correctly and in the invoice format they can handle.
The network connection for a customer is made on the customer card under Register > Customers.
Here's how to change the connection:
1. Search for the customer whose settings you want to edit and click View.
2. Click on Edit to access the customer's settings. At the bottom of the customer card in the field Company under Connection to InExchange Network, the connection to a recipient in the network is made.
To change the connection, enter either the company name or the company's organization number without dashes in the field Company under Connection to InExchange Network. When you start typing in the field, suggestions for matches that fit your search will appear. Select the relevant recipient and click Save.

If you are missing any information needed for the registration, we recommend that you contact the recipient for more information.
How do I change the network connection for an existing e-invoice recipient?
Path to InExchange Network: Register\Customers
You can change the customer's connection to the network on the customer card in your customer register (this can also be done directly in InExchange Invoice Printer or in the files transferred to us via an integrated service). If the company has different GLNs for its units or departments, it is important to ensure that the connection is made to the correct recipient in the network.
Follow these steps to change the connection:
- Search for the customer in your customer register and click on View.
- Now click on Edit.
- At the bottom of the customer card, the connection between your customer and the current e-invoice recipient in our network is made. Enter the name, GLN, or the company's organization number. Suggestions that match your search will appear as you start typing in the field. Select the appropriate recipient and save your settings.
