Send invoices
InExchange Invoice Printer is primarily intended to be installed on the local client where the business system is used. However, it can be installed on a server in cases where the business system is also actively running on the server; a rule of thumb is that the software should be installed where the business system is. Unfortunately, it is not possible to install the invoice printer as a shared printer on a server. Please send the information below to your IT department or responsible personnel.
During installation
The logged-in user must be an administrator during installation.
During use
The user of the program needs to have read and write permissions in one of the following folders:
-
C:\Documents and settings\All users\Application Data\InExchange Factorum
Applies to operating systems up to Windows XP/Windows Server 2003 R2 -
C:\ProgramData\InExchange Factorum
Applies to operating systems from Windows Vista and later
Additionally, each logged-in user must have their own instance of the process xAgent.exe running. This should be solvable, for example, through the user's Startup folder. The process can be found at:
C:\Program Files\InExchange Factorum\InExchange Invoice Manager\Win32
or in:
C:\Program Files\InExchange\InExchange Invoice Printer\x64
Communication
xClient.exe needs to be able to connect to ws.inexchange.se on port 80 (http) and 443 (https).
Testing
Once the installation is complete, restart the computer and log in as the current user and
print documents to InExchange Invoice Printer. Then follow the instructions displayed
on the screen.
