Send invoices
If you are using a business system where invoice prints go through a PDF reader, you may need to switch PDF readers so that we can correctly read all invoice information and convert it to e-invoice. This is especially true if you are using the built-in PDF reader in Google Chrome, where we have seen issues during the reading of invoices when using InExchange Invoice Printer.
We recommend Foxit Reader as we have historically seen that the readability is good.
How to Change PDF Reader - Deactivation and Installation
The actions listed below require the user to be an administrator in Windows.
Deactivate Google Chrome's built-in PDF reader
Invoices lack readability when the built-in PDF reader in Google Chrome is used for printing invoices to the invoice printer. Therefore, the built-in PDF reader needs to be deactivated if you are using Chrome along with your business system. Follow the steps below to do this.
1. Paste chrome://settings/content/pdfDocuments in the address bar in Chrome and go to the page.
2. Enable the option to download PDF files instead of opening them in Chrome.
Install the PDF reader Foxit Reader
The free version of Foxit Reader can be downloaded here: https://www.foxitsoftware.com/downloads/
Press the button Download for free and then select Foxit Reader (with orange icon).
After installation, you only need to open your PDF document with Foxit Reader and print to InExchange Invoice Printer as usual.
Note!
Have at least version 9.4.0.16811, but if you are using Foxit Reader, we recommend that you always have the latest version installed.
Print Settings in Foxit Reader
To ensure that the prints are readable in the Invoice Printer, make sure that "Print as image" is not checked.
Also ensure that "Scale" under print management is set to "None".
If we cannot correctly read all information from your invoices, we will notify you. We then recommend the above solution. If you know that you are using Google Chrome's built-in PDF reader, or for example Adobe Acrobat where similar problems can sometimes occur, we recommend that you follow the instructions above before sending your sample invoices.
